Bartow's Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 hosted a Pancakes and Politics Breakfast this morning at the Bartow Civic Center. The event was sponsored by the Polk Democrat.Adam Putnam was the guest speaker and there were very few open seats. He spoke on a variety of topics affecting the nation from oversees trade and growing nations to health care and the working poor in America.
All in all a good meeting. Pam and I did have a chance to speak to him about the CSX ILC briefly and he knew of the local concerns and had a few concerns himself.
