I was recently sent this website, which simplifies what a DRI process is all about. It doesn't explain everything and every detail, but it does give us some idea of what's going to happen.

The question I have is---This is for a regional review, who's looking out for us locally?
On the local level, Winter Haven will do what's best for Winter Haven, but what about the thousands of county residents without a vote on local issues?
Any thoughts or ideas?

That's the problem that I pointed out from Tom Pelham's letter to Ann Furr and Tony Otte is that it doesn't address PURELY local issues (such as noise and light at your house), but could deal with other local issues (traffic) by looking at it regionally and addressing it comprehensively.
